This apartment hunting spreadsheet is one of my favorite tools to use on the web. I use it not just for my own personal use, but for those who are looking for a place to rent or looking for a place to live.

It’s simple to use and doesn’t require much in the way of knowledge, but it’s also very easy to understand. Think about it like this, you have a list of your potential roommates. On the left is a map of your current area and on the right is a list of properties of interest. Then you enter a number of days you’d like to look into each property and click the checkboxes.

The spreadsheet is fairly straight forward. You can add/remove/rename properties easily. As you add different properties, you add/remove your potential roommates and the properties. You can also delete or edit apartments at any time. There are several advanced options for you to use.

You can make your apartment search spreadsheet as detailed as you want, and can add a contact, a job number, a zip code, etc. To help you find your ideal apartment, it will also let you know what you are looking for. It’s a great way to be able to keep tabs on your potential new roommates.

To make things more interesting, there are also an advanced options to use, which you can think of as a more detailed spreadsheet. You can make it very specific, or pick out a more general list of criteria (ex. “a place with three bedrooms and a bath that is within walking distance of the bus stop”, or “a place with a nice view of a lake”).

A good place to start is to use a spreadsheet like this. Its an easy way to get a sense of what kind of things people are looking for, when they are not.

There’s a lot of places out there with the same criteria, but there’s a lot more information to find out. In the most popular list of the best places in the world, Google is pretty much the leader in this area.

I know this article isn’t about apps for apps sake, but its worth mentioning that Google has a lot of data to provide you with about what your app should be doing. You can also find some of their data in the app store itself. There are lots of reasons for this, but one of them is that the app store and the app developer community are extremely friendly. They don’t try to be, but they do want you to be happy.
