This is a great logo for a record label. It was done by a friend of mine, while I was going through the whole process of recording my own music. It is a simple and clean design that could be used in a variety of ways. I may use it to represent my favorite brand when I’m searching for a new one (a la the Google logo), but I also think it could be just as effective when I’m trying to decide what to eat for dinner.

The title is not based on what a song or record has or what it sounds like, but on what the artist has/is. Many artists are not aware of these elements in their song or record. They have no sense of what they know, but they take it for granted that they’ve been given so much more to play. They’re not even sure whether there’s even an element of artistry in a song.
Now more than ever, if an artist has been given so much more to play, it’s very likely that they’re not even aware of the things they’re playing. This is why the idea of someone being a songwriter isn’t a very believable thing. I feel like I see this a lot with artist interviews, and I’m not just talking about music. I think it happens with any artist doing interviews.
