I have a Star Wars birthday wish for everyone who reads this. I hope you all have a Star Wars birthday party that you will never forget.
For those of you who don’t know, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time. If you haven’t seen it, I’d strongly suggest you do so. It’s incredible to watch and definitely one of the most memorable movies of the last decade. It will make your birthday a little extra special.
It’s true, I did not know the original Star Wars trilogy is one of the best films of the last decade. I thought it was pretty good, but you had to see it to understand how much. For those who don’t know, the original Star Wars trilogy was the first trilogy to ever be made in a whole lot of detail. The original trilogy features a great cast, great special effects, and a fantastic story.
Star Wars is something I still can’t get my head around, but it is one of the very few movies I still think can be understood without a bit of background knowledge. It was a great story, so much so that I remember seeing it as a kid and thinking, “I wonder what I would have thought of if I grew up, or if I was in my 20’s.” The movie trilogy has a very strong sense of realism, despite its more fantastical elements.
I don’t want to just be nitpicking, but I think it would have been a great idea to include a scene in the movie where Luke, Leia, Han and C-3P0 are all drinking and dancing to “I Want a Revolution.” Just one scene from the movie where every single person is getting along. It would have been the perfect birthday gift, like Han Solo and Chewie getting a kiss.
Star Wars has always been a little bit of a fantasy movie and has a lot of references, but I think it would have been a great idea to include a scene from the movie where Luke, Leia, Han and C-3P0 are all getting along. Just one scene from the movie where every single person is getting along. It would have been the perfect birthday gift, like Han Solo and Chewie getting a kiss.
Maybe it would have been more accurate to say that Han Solo and Chewbacca are getting along in the Star Wars universe, but I don’t think it would have been a good idea to have that scene.
I think it would have been really interesting if Luke and Leia were celebrating Star Wars day, but I think it would be a little too close to the line with Chewbacca and C-3PO, and I think it may have been weird to have Leia and Han getting along. That would have been more appropriate for the movie.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t think Han and Leia will ever get along, and I think Chewbacca has too much respect for the Force to ever get along with anyone. I’m very disappointed in the writers of Star Wars, especially after how it was handled for the last two movies.
Star Wars is not a very family-friendly movie, in general. It’s a lot like a Harry Potter book when you read it and are supposed to feel at home in it. I wouldn’t have put it that way, but that’s essentially what I think of it. I’m glad we’ll still have an opportunity to talk about Star Wars at the end of the film, though.
