It is about not just your actions but how you think about them. When you have self-awareness, you will be able to see that you are not just a cog in a machine. You are the machine.
It is important to understand that self-awareness doesn’t just rely on conscious awareness, but also on unconscious awareness. This is what allows us to truly live our lives. When we have self-awareness, we can see that the actions we are taking don’t just affect our bodies and minds, but also have an impact on the people around us.
Self-awareness is also important because it shows us that we are not just a cog in a machine, but rather the machine itself. So how do we use our self-awareness to our advantage? We can live our lives on autopilot. This is not just good for our physical and mental health, its good for our social and emotional health as well. We can develop a life list. We can learn to live with less. I know its easy to say that you should be on the lookout for more “meaningful” connections, but what exactly do you mean by more meaningful? I don’t mean more meaningful than that you want to learn something about yourself. I mean more meaningful than that you want to be in a classroom. Why do you want to be in a classroom? Because that’s what a classroom is.
I think you can define a class as a place that is set up to teach you various skills, but also to foster your individual growth, so going back to school because you want to learn something about yourself. Instead, we end up doing school because we want to be in a classroom.
